First of all I would like to mention that this post is inspired by Daniel Scocco’s previous initiative, since he has been doing this activity for quite a long time now. I have participated in some of his initiatives and I thought it would be cool to do so for SteitBlog’s readers.
Having your goals set publicly or even privately, will really help you focus more and dedicate extra time and effort to achieve these goals. With this group writing project we will share our own goals with each other hence help ourselves achieve them.
Do you want to participate?
To take part in this group project you should write an article on your blog mentioning your goals in details and then comment on this post with a URL to your goals article. You have 2 weeks to submit your entries (December 21st is the deadline). The week following that, I will be publishing an article containing a brief about each of your goals and linking back to the original article for the readers to read in details.
Sample Internet Goals
- To reach 5,000 daily page views.
- To reach 3,000 followers on Twitter.
- To have more than 2,000 fans on Facebook’s FanPage.
- To exceed 4,000 RSS subscribers.
- To generate revenue of minimum USD 2,000/month starting from August.
- To Launch 3 e-books 1 of them is premium and paid for.
- To publish more than 30 articles per month on my blog starting from July.
Don’t you have any goals that you want to achieve in 2010? What are they? Share them with us as mentioned above!

December 8, 2009 at 1:08 pmCool post. I’ll probably do an article about it around new years day, so its a bit more in context.
For the meantime though, I guess my aims for my blog are to start making some money from it (I haven’t monetised until now), hit 500 visits/day minimum, and meet new people! I’m sure I’ll think of some more nearer the time though! :)

December 8, 2009 at 1:19 pmThis post is perfect Steitiyeh. I have a big blogging project upcoming and I think that’s already part of my goals for 2010 (early 2010 if possible). I might refer to this when I write about it in my blog. Retweeted. ;)

December 9, 2009 at 1:32 pmSteit,
I have just completed a post on my 2010 goals for LifeNotion.
After making them I am really forward to accomplishing them as close as possible. Some goals seem very “oh my” where others seem very reasonable. This determines my overall focus for LifeNotion.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s goals!
Here is the post with my goals: http://www.lifenotion.com/2009/12/2010-goals-for-lifenotion-and-the-community/
Best Regards,
Derek

December 10, 2009 at 7:34 amWow, you are the third blogger today who has posted about goals. I have mine written down on paper and will probably post it later this month.
One must have goals that can be attained and others where you have to push yourself and your site to the max.
